Employment Projects of Winnipeg provides individual and group employment counselling to assist clients with their job search and career planning.
Counsellors provide information and referrals to community and educational resources. They also motivate and encourage immigrants, providing follow up and support.
How to Get Started
Individuals born outside of Canada are invited to make an appointment by calling the Employment Projects of Winnipeg at 949-5300.
During the first appointment, a counsellor will determine the client needs. Clients are counselled in the areas of labour market information, the use of appropriate job search tools, assistance with goal planning, resume and cover letter writing, job search strategies and interview preparation.
